Keep it metal related – anything better suited to Gumtree or eBay should go there.

Profiteering is completely against the spirit of metal collecting, if you can’t offer the item at a reasonable price, don’t list it here. Also against the ethos of the board is posting items looking for offers. Again, if you don't have a fixed price, take it to eBay.

Record flipping (buying a new limited edition item to sell at a high price a short time later) is completely out of the question.

New traders – please supply lists of references, and don’t be offended if asked to send first.

No more than two threads per poster - please keep all items in the same thread, it stops you cluttering up the page.

In relation to these alleged rules, does the "keep it metal" rule extend to: " Welder and scrap merchant living in hand crafted cast iron shed, seeking house mate to help us cover council tax, preference given to Bronze smith with zinc knee caps ?

It mightn't be a bad idea to add to the rules that people shouldn't start a new thread for each item that they're selling.
