Starship Troopers was on the box last night, awful dialogue, no acting in sight, but what a fuckin deadly watch. I'd still leave Denise Richards looking like a painters radio given the chance.

Seen the sequels? 2 & 3 are fucking awful, 3 being slightly better as I recall. Haven't seen the animated one yet.

The "Steel" post in the main forum reminded me of Steel Dawn.

I think a lot of people offering films here aren't grasping the concept of "so bad it's good".
Commando - so good, it's good.
Starship Troopers - so good, it's good.
Maximun Overdrive - so good, it's good.
Escape From New York - so good, it's good.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - so good, it's good.
The Warriors - so good, it's good.

Sewage Baby - so bad it's good.

Comprende?

Yep. It, by right, should be low-budget, terribly acted (by actors who surely never "made it") and be so ridiculous that it can't be fully comprehended. Surely nobody could put Hard Ticket to Hawaii in the same list as Starship Troopers or Commando. Commando is a tour de force of modern cinema.

Starship Troopers is indeed a fucking deadly film. Denise Richards has the most dead eyes I've ever seen on a living person though.
